Count what your child can do and not what he/she cannot.
Would like to share my experience with you. As this is vacation time so we conduct 'Mind Programming Through Handwriting for Kids' at Renovision Management Consultants,Pimpri Pune. This is a 21 days course, wherein we ask the child to follow a set of positive strokes which programmes his/her mind for qualities like - increase in concentration , solves his behavioural issues, his grades increase ,enhances chis confidence, improves health and many more......
One parent use to come daily to leave her kid for the class, and as she was located far from the office she use to wait there. The minute she would get a chance to talk to me she would start my daughter is like this like that, yeh nahin karti who nahi karti , sunti nahi hai and on on on.
I tried to make her understand very politely , that her child was good she need not worry. But she did not stop her story then one day I shared the issue with my Sir ( Pradeep Sonu Kirpalani). He just smiled ,and left the room where the class was being conducted.
After completing my session when I came out, to my surprise this mother was praising her daughter saying Mam u know my daughter is very good at drawing and dancing. I smiled but inside was shocked how did this happen??? As she left I asked Sir "how did this happen" .He said " I did nothing I was just sharing my experience with few parents yesterday with one of our students. Which this parent overheard. He said “I told the parents what if I just keep on counting your mistakes day in and day out how would you feel. Same does the child feel .Don’t create self-deceit in the child but at least don’t criticise his every action or move. You know what will happen if you do so that child will develop a feeling in the long run I am good for nothing? a feeling of self doubt.”
So true imagine yourself in this situation and how you would feel? Will this person take any step confidently in his life? There will be such a lot of hesitation should I should I not?One parent use to come daily to leave her kid for the class, and as she was located far from the office she use to wait there. So search for what a person has not what he does not.
I believe that if we focus on the good qualities the beholder of that particular qualities will also focus on those goods that the bad . And slowly slowly those bad qualities will fade away. If we do vice versa the result will also be vice versa.
I KNEW ALL THIS BUT SOME WHERE IT HAD SLIPPED OF MY MIND . SERIOUSLY SPEAKING I DID NOT PUT IT INTO ACTION . I HAVE STARTED PRACTICING IT AND I AM FEELING NICE.
Thank you Pradeep Sir for this eye opener.
Thank you Pradeep Sir for this eye opener.
MANY OF YOU ALSO KNOW THIS BUT AGAIN WHERE IS THE ACTION? SO LETS ALL DO THIS AND SEE THE MAGIC. LETS CONTIRBUTE IN DEVELOPING THE CONFIDENCE , SELF - ESTEEM OF OUR NEAR AND DEAR ONES.
