If this stroke is in your child’s handwriting he is a selective listener. You may be telling many things to your child without knowing if he is actually listening to you. This formation if seen often in your child it shows he is giving a deaf ear to your dos and don’ts .If this continues for  a long time the person may suffer from acidity problems, addictions. This person is not open minded he /she will prefer to do what he/ she likes.

The reason for this kind of behaviour is that the father has not kept up his promises over a period of time as a result the child has closed his ears to his suggestions and now it has become his habit and he listens to only things which he wants.

We learn that if we don’t want our kids to behave in this way please don’t make false promises .For us it may not be a serious issue but think of it from the kids point of view let’s take an e.g. here A father promises his son “son if you get 80% in your exams I will take you a particular place. According to the father this promise acts as a motivation for the child. Yes it does! the child puts in all his efforts and along with his efforts he does one more thing, he tells all his friends that if he gets 80% his dad will take him to xyz place. Now when he achieves 80% means he has kept his promise now he is expecting the same thing from his father but the father is unable to keep his promise coz he has some urgent work or some reason which may be v v genuine. The child is upset, reason not just that he is unable to go, but remember he has told his friends  ,now he feels all his friends will laugh at him. If this happens over and over again the above formation takes place in the child handwriting.

Moral: Keep up to all your promises be it in the case of elders or kids. I agree at times it is not possible, here mothers have to play their special role- make the child understand the reason for not keeping up the promise. And fathers please see that this does not happen again and again. This small formation can be the coz of many serious issues. So take care.
